This is an unoriginal piece written back in 2010 by Brainiac whoever that is, while I was perusing the photos of handshaking the tyrants, a good exercise to rejuvenate, reactivate the knowledge that what happened a few days ago, now referred to by the media as "that thing that happened on Tuesday, Nov 8, 2016" is probably a good case of Karma for everyone involved, a Karma that is certainly going to carry me through the rest of my life, Part 2, like The Election of 1968, Part 1, carried me this far.
It's a whole New World Order. So maybe you can read this and laugh at yourself for being such a sucker. Sober up and take off your dancing shoes.

Stop Believing in Pete

I poured over darwin and jane goodall. Ernest Hemingway and Bettina Aptheker from the coliseum to stonehenge, today is pete hegseths tribunal for manager of the dept of defense, as if it matters who's in charge there, where the president has a remote office, just like at the cia. Why do we care? Where does pete hegseth fit in the scheme of right and wrong, democracy and total authoritarianism?   It's just an intellectual exercise. A game. It's like arguing the rules of war. As revolutionaries of the future and not the present, we do have to realize that it doesn't matter who "wins" in the zionist, iran, hezbollah, hamas, us, ukraine, russia, houthi battle between fascist, nationalist forces because no matter who wins, we will still lose. Today, Election Day, Nov 5th, 2024 (Short Term Memory)

 Something borrowed, something not blue, something old and never used. I don't know but if I didn't know better, it seems I've waited all my life for this day, or maybe, the day after, which would be tomorrow, wouldn't it be? You know, whatever day it is when a victor is announced. Will it be Project 2025 or Project Glad to Be Rid of Donald Trump But Everything Remains the Same, Sounds the Same, and Is the Same. Never mind. We have to wait. Old friends, who have passed from revolutionary to grandparent (whatever politics that is) calling yesterday to say they're too old to go live in the Canadian mountains if Trump is elected. Disappointing Harris

(Wrote this when Harris was still relevant as a historical figure, like a supposed contender for the presidency but, by gosh, the rest is still the same) It's not that kamala harris is disappointing because being disappointed is merely an emotion of expectant results vs what you finally get from those expectations. What's really disappointing is that america has finally become a corporate, third world nation where money controls everything, even the thoughts of most well-intentioned progressives, which kamala harris is not among those, either. Her interview on cnn revealed what many of us (though not enough) already know, a harris presidency will only be influenced by catastrophic repercussions of former and past failures. I’ve been critical of the so called ‘revolutions’ taking place around the globe recently, including the Occupy movement of a couple of years ago. They are so-called social media revolutions because they were built on the availability of social media to engage many people that may not have ever been engaged. As we’ve seen the revolutions in Northern Africa slip from the news, the Occupy Movement slip from having any relevance at all, and Egypt, Syria, Ukraine, and other nation states, some newsworthy and some not, slip into and out of chaos, my criticism seems well founded.
