We are all criminals. America deported over 500 so called ""criminals" the last couple of days. This is part of the new executive order to deport all criminals, which really means anyone undocumented is a criminal, regardless of whether or not they are otherwise law abiding. This definition of "criminal" as meaning anything, which could be interpreted as thinking that supports anything illegal, such as abortion, could be considered "criminal". A similar belief that anti-israeli/zionist atrocities is anti-semitism and falls under all laws against discrimination. Ironically, this is the emblem of the fascist who turn everything on its head, upsidedown. Todays the second day

  Here is something i wrote in 2015 and still true today. a miracle of some substance. Will americans actually vote for the candidate that delivers the best one liners. I think everybody was entertained by Donald Trump, who is the least democratically inclined candidate I’ve ever experienced. With Trump, we probably can dispense with the Congress altogether and he can simply issue decrees. I have no idea who would want to be his vice president, since we can probably dispense with one of those too.   The Supreme   Court is useless against him as is the Constitution. He’s figuratively and literally a one man show. But alas, he merely shows the fateful weakness in the american system because the one entity he can’t replace but must work with is the military and corporations. What is a person? Is a person a legal term? A corporation is a person A set of cells is a person. A nation is a person The constitution said "All Men" were like persons, but it meant some were not, as well as women, landless, poor, slaves, and indigenous non-persons. That was corrected or amended as differentiating between those nonpersons and persons became, if not cumbersome, more difficult. Who is not a person? A palestinian isnt a person. A queer is not a person. Dependent on where you are in the world and who you are, you may or may not be a person. Who creates personhood? The supreme court creates. The congress creates The scientific community creates. The religious communities create You create. Love fest at the democratic convention (another old news is no news)

It was a love fest at the DNC the first night. Everybody loved Joe, Joe loved everybody. Even Hilary seemed love was in the air. Love, love, love. The democrats loved the middle class and where appropriate, they loved the working class, which includes, i presume, means everybody, except billionaires and scabs. I was close to shedding a tear or two until i fell asleep during Bidens long winded self-congratulatory speech. 50 minutes. When i woke up and he was still talking, for some reason i thought of the thousands outside the arena and the short story by edgar allen poe called The Masque of the Red Death.   Although there were no masks there' there was no there there, either. T-rump wins. George jr wins Reagan wins, Nixon wins Nader loses, gore loses, harris loses, mcgovern loses, carter loses, clinton loses If you like the way that sounds, think about it. Climate change rejected, fast trains rejected, equal rights (a s in the amendment), abortion rights rejected, workers' rights (as in livable wage, immigrant rights, union rights), any kind of socialism (as in social security, as in health care, as in wealth equality, as in taxation,). All rejected or, at the very least, ignored or compromised by the main political factions. The fact of the matter is the left in america is a trojan horse to most of america.   Martin Luther King Day and Inauguration Day, MLK, DT. I saw where hundreds marched in my home town on Saturday to protest the Trump Presidency. I wonder who organizes these things. Why couldn't the anti-DT march forces join the MLK forces as a show of strength and solidarity? It's cold as hell in the east and hot as, well, you know, hell in the west. And never the twain shall meet, they say. Some women were freed in israel and the annexed palestine. They say conditions were rough but they are smiling, glad to be free, as most of us would be. Even if they think they can, or if we think they could, all the banks, the militaries, all the wealthy and tyrannical men won't or can't or even shouldn't try to do what all the kings men and horses couldn't do, put the broken humpty dumpty back together again. In its weakened and initial stages, it is more anti- intellectual than anything else, which gives it a wide range to wander the institutional and philosophical, cultural, social, and political milieu. Change is certainly its goal, but what kind of change? Heres some examples of daily activities or issues most common people have to deal with and fascism plays the scene. Recent book restrictions, the freedom to read, publish and display.
