What is a person?

What is a person?
Is a person a legal term?
A corporation is a person
A set of cells is a person.
A nation is a person
The constitution said "All Men" were like persons, but it meant some were not, as well as women, landless, poor, slaves, and indigenous non-persons.
That was corrected or amended as differentiating between those nonpersons and persons became, if not cumbersome, more difficult.

Who is not a person?
A palestinian isnt a person.
A queer is not a person.
Dependent on where you are in the world and who you are, you may or may not be a person.

Who creates personhood?
The supreme court creates.
The congress creates
The scientific community creates.
The religious communities create
You create.

Christians point to the declaration of independence as a reference to america being "one nation under god", perhaps but are we governed by god? Is god a person?
Does god have a personality?
Does a corporation? A nation?
Some persons claim god speaks through them and we should listen to them.
What does god say about who is a person?
He doesnt, but some other person will inform you what god told him about it.

A person (she, he, me, it) is one who has universal human rights. Or is it or does it? No one knows. So, just take your rights wherever you are.

We are all criminals. America deported over 500 so called ""criminals" the last couple of days. This is part of the new executive order to deport all criminals, which really means anyone undocumented is a criminal, regardless of whether or not they are otherwise law abiding. This definition of "criminal" as meaning anything, which could be interpreted as thinking that supports anything illegal, such as abortion, could be considered "criminal".   Here is something i wrote in 2015 and still true today. a miracle of some substance. Will americans actually vote for the candidate that delivers the best one liners. I think everybody was entertained by Donald Trump, who is the least democratically inclined candidate I’ve ever experienced. With Trump, we probably can dispense with the Congress altogether and he can simply issue decrees. I have no idea who would want to be his vice president, since we can probably dispense with one of those too.   The Supreme   Court is useless against him as is the Constitution. He’s figuratively and literally a one man show. But alas, he merely shows the fateful weakness in the american system because the one entity he can’t replace but must work with is the military and corporations.   Martin Luther King Day and Inauguration Day, MLK, DT. I saw where hundreds marched in my home town on Saturday to protest the Trump Presidency. I wonder who organizes these things. Why couldn't the anti-DT march forces join the MLK forces as a show of strength and solidarity? It's cold as hell in the east and hot as, well, you know, hell in the west. Disappointing Harris

(Wrote this when Harris was still relevant as a historical figure, like a supposed contender for the presidency but, by gosh, the rest is still the same) It's not that kamala harris is disappointing because being disappointed is merely an emotion of expectant results vs what you finally get from those expectations. What's really disappointing is that america has finally become a corporate, third world nation where money controls everything, even the thoughts of most well-intentioned progressives, which kamala harris is not among those, either. Her interview on cnn revealed what many of us (though not enough) already know, a harris presidency will only be influenced by catastrophic repercussions of former and past failures.
